Meet BSLA’s new Member Relations Path Leader

Rebecca McKevitz, Associate ASLA is very excited to bring her passion for people and landscape architecture together as BSLA’s new path leader for Member Relations.   She looks forward to working with our strong community of landscape architects across the Commonwealth, and building BSLA’s membership even further. Please reach out to her anytime regarding membership, ideas for BSLA events and services, or just to say hello!  Email Rebecca at

For Rebecca, the most rewarding part of being a landscape designer is watching as a project transforms a community and spurs future growth and improvement. Her love for landscape architecture stems from her personal belief that creating functional landscapes will encourage strong social and cultural connections and create spaces for people to come together and connect with each other.

Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Rebecca graduated with honors from Ball State University in Spring 2016. Her thesis project explored how innovative urban infill techniques can improve the economic and environmental condition of Detroit, while providing an enhanced quality of life for the industrious residents of the city.  After working for a design-build firm in Houston and two offices in Boston, Rebecca is currently at Dan Gordon Landscape Architects in Wellesley, MA. She enjoys the opportunity to engage with clients and help them achieve their goals while also working hands-on to learn about materials, construction and the interesting details involved in creating a beautiful landscape.
