The versatility of Unilock’s U CARA wall system provided a seamless design amongst the vertical components within the landscape.

The renovated outdoor spaces of the Langley Terrace apartments in Newton Center, Massachusetts provide a housing complex with new, vibrant, public areas for tenants. Landscape architects G2 Collaborative designed low site walls that front Langley Road, provide seating opportunities off of the sidewalk, create an edge along a new rain garden for the main apartment building, and lead people to a series of terraces that step down to the main building’s entry.

The versatility of Unilock’s U CARA wall system provided a seamless design amongst the vertical components within the landscape.

A center courtyard, incorporating permeable paving, was designed to unify the buildings around an open space. Access from three buildings spills out onto this court where there are benches under a canopy of trees, garden edges, and an open terrace for children to play.
