BSLA Service Day: Eastern Mass

In person.

Let’s get outside into the landscape! We’ll pitch in to help clean up a landscape as we say hi to friends, too. Family and colleagues, all welcome.

The Boston area will be working with the Neponset River Watershed Association’s annual spring cleanup of waterfronts and parklands along the Neponset River on Saturday morning, April 23.

BSLA will lead the cleanup at the Mill Pond Reservation site, near Colella Playground. Please dress for the weather and bring a water bottle. All cleanup supplies will be provided on-site.

Please sign up here for the Mill Pond Reservation, Hyde Park site via the Neponset River Greenway’s Signup Genius. Please list BSLA as the group.

We’re aiming to all gather at the same site, but if there’s a different site that’s better for you for whatever reason, go for it! We’ll be working alongside hundreds of volunteers at a dozen different sites throughout the Neponset River Watershed.

Questions? Please email BSLA executive director (& volunteer site captain) Gretchen.

We hope to see you out there. Thank you!

Throughout the month of April (and early May), the BSLA community will celebrate World Landscape Architecture Month through service activities at three different sites — in Western Mass, in Maine, and in the Boston area. Please join us!
