Senior Landscape Architect

Mitchell & Associates is looking for a motivated and team oriented individual to join our expanding design team. Mitchell & Associates, a three person Landscape Architecture and Planning firm located in Portland, Maine. Our projects cover a diverse range of exciting projects that include coastal residential projects, urban parks and public open space, commercial projects, residential housing, including multifamily, affordable and elderly housing projects.

We have an immediate opening for a creative, responsible and skilled landscape architect to be part of our design team.

• Individual must have a bachelors or master’s degree in landscape architecture from an accredited program, have a minimum of two (2) to five (5) years of professional experience in a landscape architecture firm.

• Candidate must have strong design and technical skills, graphic skills, written and verbal communication skills,

• Management experience with all aspects of a project through implementation,

• Ability to interact with clients and other design professionals, and strong presentation skills,

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite; Photoshop, InDesign and Adobe Illustrator and Sketch-up required. Experience with AutoCAD Civil a plus.

• Proficiency with MS Office Suite

• In-person and some remote
