In 2020, over 160 individuals attended the first-ever ACEC-RI Diversity Networking Forum at the Rhode Island Department of Administration’s reception area in Providence, Rhode Island. The Association is excited to be holding the event again this spring after a multi-year delay due to the impacts of COVID.

DBE, WBE, and MBE certified firms who provide professional engineering, planning, and related services from the greater Rhode Island area are invited to exhibit and present their skills and services in a casual meet and greet setting.

In addition to the exhibitors, the forum is anticipated to attract representatives from ACEC-RI’s many member companies to network, and ultimately discuss project and teaming opportunities. State agencies including the Rhode Island Department of Administration, Rhode Island Department of Transportation, Rhode Island Commerce Corporation, Rhode Island Public Transit Authority, Rhode Island Bridge & Turnpike Authority, Rhode Island Airport Corporation, and the Narragansett Bay Commission are also expected to be represented at the event.

This event will be coordinated and managed by the ACEC-RI Diversity Committee. It is scheduled to take place on April 27, 2023, from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM and will be held at the Rhode Island Department of Administration Building Foyer at 1 Capitol Hill in Providence, RI. There is no cost to participate in this event.
