Inside/Out: Hard-working landscapes of Hood Park

BSLA’s 2022 Inside/Out series continues with outdoor tours of the landscape-forward planning of Hood Park in Charlestown. From the master plan to Main Street to the small but mighty Hood Bike Park, we’ll learn how these new, hard-working landscapes are cleaning pollutants, capturing stormwater, and turning former industrial zones in to spaces for fun. We’ll end at Nightshift Brewing’s pop-up Owl’s Nest.

We start with the master plan and related projects at 5:30pm, then to Hood Bike Park at approximately 6:30, ending at the pop up Owl’s Nest. Arrive when you can. Tickets are FREE, registration requested. All are welcome. Students, friends, and families too.

RSVP here.

These are a few of many Inside/Out sites in Maine, in Western Mass, and in metro Boston that we’ve visited so far. Watch the highlights video. Where do you want to go next? Let us know!
