Harvard Graduate School of Design and the Department of Landscape Architecture are hosting an exciting 2-day conference on February 15th and 16th titled “Forest Futures: Will the Forest Save us All?”  

Bringing together leading researchers and practitioners, the conference Forest Futures: Will the Forest Save Us All? offers new perspectives on metropolitan and urban forests and the species that inhabit them. Deeping the themes of the GSD exhibition FOREST FUTURES, group discussions follow short panel presentations on pressing topics including, new measures in metropolitan and community forests, innovations in forest management, and the impact of urban forests on human public health, environmental justice, and the climate crisis.
