PARK(ing) Day 2024!
Happening worldwide, in-person on Friday, September 20.
Come play with us! BSLA would love to have you participate in one of our PARKing Day installations.
PARKing Day is a global event in which parking spaces are temporarily transformed into mini parks — happening this year for a whole weekend. ASLA chapters across the country are participating on Friday, September 20.
In Massachusetts & Maine, we use PARKing Day as a means to introduce kids and teens to landscape architecture, too!
We are planning installations in Boston (near Boston Green Academy), in Portland (near Portland High School), and in Western Mass.

We have a series of Zoom meetings to plan Parking Day 2024! We’ll start all together, volunteers for all sites: Western Mass, Maine, and Boston......... and then we can divide into sub-groups if/as needed.
