BSC Group is seeking a Senior Landscape Architect to fill a critical role in our dynamic and growing landscape architecture practice, which emphasizes creativity in the built environment and combines close collaboration with our clients, stakeholders, and BSC colleagues to create responsible and transformational work.

The position requires an understanding of the design, permitting, and construction of public and private sector projects in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and throughout New England. The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team to lead, mentor, and support our multidisciplinary staff. BSC offers a flexible work environment, while the home base for this position will be our Boston office.
Successful candidates will be able to:
Contribute to collaborative design development, integrating innovative and creative options and solutions.
Carry out full-service projects at all phases of the design cycle from site analysis to CD’s and specs.
Manage project workflow with BSC team members and services (e.g. ecological, engineering, survey) and subconsultants.
Direct project team compliance with contract terms, schedules, budget, and quality objectives.
Manage the construction process. Assist in the guidance, delegation, and supervision of junior staff.
Contribute, as needed, to business development, project proposals, and interviews.
Provide internal technical support to BSC’s multidisciplinary team of project managers, as needed.
Demonstrates an attention to detail and passion for enhancing the communities we live in.

Requirements:
B.S. or M.S. in Landscape Architecture
10–15 years related experience with proven design acumen.
Registered Landscape Architect in New England or ability for licensure in at least one NE state.
Good organizational skills.
Good graphic skills (hand sketches are a plus).
Good production skills using products such as CAD, M-color, Rhino, Lumion, Sketch-up, Adobe Creative Suite, etc. Open to travel to/from construction sites in the greater Boston area and occasionally other areas in New England.
Highly motivated and responsible individual with strong work ethic.
Ability to work cooperatively on multi-discipline projects.
A valid Massachusetts Driver's license is preferred.
