ASLA virtual Advocacy Day on Capitol Hill

For the first time since the start of the pandemic, ASLA’s national Advocacy Day on Capitol Hill returns!

Now in a virtual format, three volunteers from each chapter will have meetings throughout the day with senators and representatives from their state congressional delegations. ASLA sets up the meetings for chapters across the country. Our BSLA volunteers will meet with Senators and Representatives from Massachusetts and Maine.

Are you interested in being one of our three chapter volunteers? Please let us know! Students, this includes you!

And/or — is there an issue, topic, or information related to the practice of landscape architecture that you think should be discussed with our Maine or Mass congressional delegation? Please let us know that, too. There

Email BSLA Advocacy Chair Rachel Guilfoil to share ideas and let her know that you’re interested in learning more.

Members of any age are encouraged to participate. ASLA staff prepare talking points, and we will help provide support materials.

Please be advised that we are limited to three total from our chapter, and we will be sure that both of our states are represented.
