This course focuses on compost and engineered soil applications for a variety of site designs, like rain gardens and green roof installations, as well as compost standards created by the US Composting Council.  The focus of this workshop will be on green roof media and the critical aspects of design for long term success and ensuring quality.

Presented by Charles Duprey

Charles Duprey is trustee of the Compost Research & Education Foundation and founding president of Naturcycle, with over 14 years of experience in compost and engineered soils. His focus is on green roof media and its high quality manufacturing and design. He has served in leadership positions with the United States Composting Council, the New York State Association for Reduction, Reuse, and Recycling, and has authored numerous articles on compost testing and more.

Naturcycle, LLC is a firm focused on providing compost and engineered soils, offering the natural materials needed to grow turf for a high quality athletic field, to improve topsoil for landscaping and gardening, and to support green roof installations.
