Landscape Architect/Designer

Founded in 1980, ZEN has grown in size and reputation thanks to its experienced team, many of whom have been contributing to the firm’s success for decades. Evolved from Japanese design principles, our design approach encompasses a wide range of aesthetics and styles, and our portfolio is as diverse as our clients’ personalities. Our multidisciplinary team works in close collaboration, ensuring a seamless and efficient process from design to execution.
This position will support our Landscape Architecture practice by providing site planning, urban and landscape design, and graphic and technical production. Project experiences will be diverse, as we provide services to both the public and private sectors. Projects include residential estates, urban gardens, rooftop gardens, and commercial premises throughout the Northeast seaboard for a variety of great clients.
Due to our growth, we are searching for a Landscape Architect/Designer with 3+ years of experience working in a landscape architecture firm. The right person will share our vision and possess the following skills:
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to build strong client relationships
• Excellent design and graphic skills, and ability to generate and articulate design concepts and solutions.
• Able to communicate with the entire design/build team in a fast-paced office environment.
• Able to assemble and develop construction packages for a variety of project types.
• Solid plant knowledge.
• Proficiency InDesign, AutoCAD, InDesign, Sketch-up, Microsoft Office Suite, and Photoshop and at least one high-end rendering software

Salary Range: starting at $75,000, based on experience
